New 8,0 Sidecut Round Square getting laminated @jo

New 8,0 Sidecut Round Square getting laminated @joymillsurfboards by @kentafergusson and test track area.
I have been riding a 9,0 Sidecut Round Square flextail with glassed on thruster mini keels on which I tried a new style of flex by cutting a slot around the side and back of the rear fin to allow more flex but this prototype style flex has proven tricky as it has cracked twice now and I have now repaired and strengthened it again and will see what happens to it over the next couple of days/sessions.
A bit of test sessioning down here in Victoria has been great to see what goes on with this style of flextail as far as load and release strength ratios.
Somewhat of a learning curve.

Custom 7,0 Wing Swallowtail Twin with optional small trailer keel to take a bit of the swishy looseness out and add that bit more direction and hold thru turns.

The fins are of my design by @true_ames and were designed 5 years ago to be somewhere between a standard twin and a fish keel for maximum drive and hold but still provide that fast loose twin fin feel.
The little keeled trailer helps with a little bit of hold and direction thru turns.
